Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving!

The season is upon us.  Yes, Thanksgiving has arrived, bringing with it family, friends, football, black friday and so much more.

So often we forget what the holiday is truly about.  It’s a time for us to give thanks for a bountiful harvest and for those blessings that we have been graced with.

So before we head to the table and thank the good Lord for the turkey, mashed potatoes, corn, cranberries, pumpkin pie and more, lets pause a moment to give thanks for our blessings, our friends and all that life has brought us in the past year.

Enjoy your Thanksgiving!

Remembering Joe Schmidt

I just received word today that my cousin Liz’s husband Joe, passed away suddenly of an undiagnosed heart issue yesterday.

My memories of Joe are few, though what I do remember is that he was a man who had a wonderful laugh and was always smiling. As a child, when we’d go to family outings at my great Aunt Gerts home, he’d be there with Liz and their girls, always smiling and engaging in conversation with the cousins, no matter what their age.

Family is what molds us, what shapes us and what holds us together through thick and thin. It never ceases to amaze me how many lives are touched by one person.

I will always have fond memories of Joe… may he rest in peace.

Feel free to check his Facebook page located here: In Memory of Joe Schmidt

Remember to keep close those you love and reach out to those who you have lost contact with for some reason or another.  Life is too short.

Avon – This isn’t your Mommas Avon anymore!

So recently I decided that I needed to start selling Avon.  Having been an avid purchaser of Avon products for years, I finally bit the proverbial bullet and said “OK Lets just do this!”

So imagine my surprise when I discovered that Avon also has a couture brand called Mark and a baby line of products called Tiny Tilla.  I’m excited to bring these brands to my readers.

The niffy thing about Avon, is you no longer have to search for the “Avon” lady, with a huge online web presence, it’s easier than ever to discover what is new in the world of Avon, Mark and even Tiny Tilla.

You can access my site by clicking here Kats Avon Feel free to register so you too can be kept up to date on the new product lines and such as they come out.

If you’ve ever been interested in selling Avon, well there is no time like the present to get started.  Just drop me a quick email and we’ll discuss it.

I hope you all enjoy the fabulous product lines that make up the Avon family and remember.. This isn’t your mommas Avon anymore… it’s Yours!

Enjoy your day!
